Blounts Creek

Blounts creek sits on the Southside of the River, perched between Chocowinity and Aurora.

This unincorporated rural area is accessed by driving South on Highway 33, and then twisting and turning down side roads towards the river.

This is a relatively unspoiled, spectacular place with high grounds and sandy shores. Views from here are stunning, and include the sweeping views of the Pamlico River. Washington and Bath can be seen on the opposite shores, an easy boat ride when the waters are calm.

Houses down here range from the very simple to grand, large homes on the waterfront.

Amenities can be found in the nearby towns of Chocowinity and Washington, and people who choose to put down roots love the peace and tranquility that comes with owning a property here.
